We rebuilding SemProg to post new semantic programming content! . . . For Web2.0 Expo SF 2010, Jamie examined how User Generated Data will drive the next phase of Web2.0. He reviewed how the “Stone Soup of Data” is driven by Cumulative Advantage, an Architecture for Participation and a Community that can operate at all scales. The talk also touched on how percolation theory can be . . .
Jamie presented “Using semantics to enhance content publishing” at Web2.0 New York in November 2009. The talk described how semantics can drive web widgets and provide facets for navigation. At the International Semantic Web Conference, Jamie teamed up with Olaf Hartig (Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin), Later at the conference, Jamie helped run the first “Linked Data-a-thon” . . . Colin and Jamie presented “Build A Semantic App Today” at the Semantic Technologies Conference in San Jose. The idea was to show how various tools and services could be pulled together to quickly build a blogging application. Once the application was running we showed how strong identifiers and a flexible data model allowed simple, . . . In July 2009 we presented the tutorial “Learn to use Semantic Technologies using Open Source Tools.” Our intent was to introduce the Web2.0 Open Source community to the Open Source tools and techniques that have been developed in the semantic technology community.
